Cardiff Chiropractic was founded along the beaches of Encinitas in 1979. Dr Romero could be found riding on the waves and doing adjustments right on the sand. It was there that, he discovered if he used a combination of manual manipulation, a balanced center of gravity and proper energy flow on his patients, they showed that they were able to stay out surfing longer and recover much more quickly after a wipeout. He created Chango Balance Products, a line of balancing boards and tools that instantly became a sensation and were soon found in Olympic training rooms and catalogues all around the country.

Today, many decades later, Dr. Romero and his team are still providing top quality care to locals and visitors near the world renowned surf spots of Cardiff Reef, Seaside Reef, Table Tops, Beacons and Swami’s.
